Usha Ascot, Matheran

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though clean, were in a very shabby state and had an unpleasant odor. On the bright side, the rooms had a sofa cum bed and a single sofa, along with a TV for entertainment. The service, led by Kishore at the reception, was very co-operative and courteous. However, I felt they could have been more helpful. The location, while conveniently situated at a walking distance from Matheran Railways station, lacked proper lighting and fans. The dining experience was enjoyable, especially during weekends with a good spread, but could have used more variety, particularly in breakfast options.

I booked a room online for the weekend stay on May 20th, 2018. The hotel's photos on websites were misleading, and the room turned out to be dirty. While it had a TV, unfortunately, there was no cable connection available which was a letdown.
